Chief Operating Officer
As Co-Owner & COO Darren has 35 years of experience in boundary, topographical, and Commercial and Industrial Surveying in the public and private sector projects. He has worked for Pelican Land Surveying, LLC since 2005. As Supervising Professional for Field Operations, Darren is responsible for working extensively with clients, (including Engineers, Architects, Managers) to ensure that field data is obtained in an accurate and timely manner and captures the needs requested by the client. Darren is the liaison between the clients, field crews and office personnel. He is assisted by the Senior Field Technicians who oversee the basic field surveying operations.
Darren has served a Supervising Professional, Project Manager, and General Manager on over 2000 projects from 1989 to present. He has extensive surveying experience in roadways, highways, commercial facilities, retail facilities, industrial sites, railroads, ports, airports and water and sewer infrastructure, and pipelines.

Chief Drafter
As Chief Drafter, Eric is proficient with CADD programs including Autocad, Autodesk Land Desktop and
Microstation. Eric plays a central role in transforming field‑collected survey data into Cadd drawings. He
performs topo reductions, boundary calculations, design layouts and computer drafting. Eric has strong
problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to quality that has made him a trusted technical leader within
Pelican Land Surveying. Eric has over 30 years of experience and has worked for Pelican Land Surveying,
LLC for more than 18 years.

Ben has hands-on experience leading field crews, managing boundary, topographic, and construction staking projects, ensuring precise, compliant survey data collection. He is highly skilled with Trimble robotic total stations, digital data collectors, GPS/GNSS systems and modern field‑to‑finish workflows that streamline project delivery.
